ITF/MAGCS Spring Golf Day

Please plan to come out and support the ITF in their Annual Fundraiser to support Turf Research and Education in Illinois. We’re helping to fund a study by Dr. Branham that really looks into PGRs on golf course fairways to see if they are really saving money from reduced mowing and clipping yields. 

Dr. Tom Voigt, Professor and Extension Specialist will provide the education in the morning for us. His presentation is “Are You Growing Invasive Grasses?”

11:30 a.m. Shotgun Start
Reception and Prizes immediately following golf.

Golf format: Two man Shamble.  Both players hit drives, select the best drive and play your own ball in from there, recording the best score.  Players will be flighted upon completion of round.  Three flights: First, Second and Third places will be awarded prizes.

Cost for day $85, includes food, beverages (kegged beer on the course), golf, cart, prizes and education.
