Cost: $25/ per person. Includes a Chicago style dinner (Chicago pizza, Portillo's and local brews). 


Every year a group of Turf Researchers, Scientists  and Graduate Assistants, come together to discuss their projects, tour different facilities, and share their knowledge and expertise. It is called NCERA (North Central Extension & Research Activity) 221 and the University of Illinois is host to the group this year. The event is being held in the Chicagoland area, and on Tuesday, June 21 at 2 p.m. the group has invited turf professionals in Illinois to partake in their meeting as they tour research plots at North Shore Country Club, Dan Dinelli, CGCS host. This is a great chance to meet with the regions top researchers in a relaxed, informal atmosphere.
